There is a reason why Aamir Khan is called the perfectionist of Bollywood and he truly deserves this title. The actor is known to go to extra lengths to get into the skin of his roles and for his next Laal Singh Chaddha, Khan has left no stone unturned to perfect his role. But do you know while shooting for a long-running sequence, he injured his knee? Yes, you read that right! Aamir sustained a knee injury because of running for a long time. In fact, despite his injury, he did not give up.
A source close to the development revealed that Aamir, who plays a titular role in the movie, pushed his limitations while shooting for this sequence. It is being said that the one scene in the film required the PK actor to shoot the long-running sequence. While doing so, his knee was injured, and he was undergoing physiotherapy. Yet, despite all the odds Aamir continued the sequence as he was constantly on painkillers to avoid the pain.
The ‘running sequence’ in Laal Singh Chaddha is one of the most talked-about scenes. In this sequence, Laal Singh Chaddha (Aamir) runs for years, passing through every picturesque location in India, and achieving another milestone in his life.
Directed by Advait Chandan, the movie is bankrolled by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios. It also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Chaitanya Akkineni. The film will be released on 11 August 2022.
