On World Mental Health Day, Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan made a big revelation and disclosed that she has been
suffering from clinical depression for the past 4 years. Ira had taken to social media to inform her fans and followers about her being depressed. Along with the video, Ira penned a long note asking people to start the conversation now to come out of any mental stress. While Ira’s video received love from one and all, the other section of social media posted some hateful and irrelevant comments on her post.
Now Ira has taken to social media to warn the trolls. In her Insta story, Ira reprimanded netizens for their hateful comments. Ira wrote, “For my posts on mental health if you’re hateful or irrelevant once, I will delete your comment. If you do it again, I will restrict your access to my posts.” Further asking netizens, Ira wrote, “Should I delete hate and irrelevant comments on my post about mental health. (They don’ bother me).” Well, 56% of her Insta followers feel she should delete the comments, while 44% don’t seem to agree.”
Earlier, Kangana’s reaction to Ira’s video raised eyebrows and made headlines. Kangana Ranaut Tweeted, “At 16 I was facing physical assault, was single-handedly taking care of my sister who was burnt with acid and also facing media wrath, there can be many reasons for depression but it’s generally difficult for broken families children, the traditional family system is very important.”
In her video, Ira said, “Hi, I'm depressed. I have been for more than four years now. I've been to a doctor and I'm clinically depressed. I’m doing much better now. For over a year now, I wanted to do something for mental health, but I wasn’t sure what to do. So, I have decided to take you on a journey, my journey, and see what happens. Hopefully, we will get to know ourselves slightly better, understand mental illness better.”
