Gulshan Kumar's biopic, Mogul, was announced last year by T-Series with Akshay Kumar as its lead. However, the film was pushed owing to differences between T-Series and Akshay. Now, there is some good news for all those looking forward to the biopic.
Trade expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the news about the release which will be directed by Subhash Kapoor and made under Aamir Khan's production house and T-Series jointly.

It is a known fact in the industry that Bhushan Kumar and Akshay had a major fallout over Mogul. At the trailer launch of Nanak Shah Fakir a few months back, when Akshay was asked if he was doing Mogul, he simply had said, “I myself don’t know yet”. But what made the fallout more bitter is the content of Bhushan's statement to Indian Boxoffice soon after.
The idea behind saying, "He could be bigger than Akshay Kumar" clearly hinted at all not being well between the two.
Soon after, rumours of Aamir stepping into the shoes of Gulshan Kumar started doing the rounds. However, at a press meet, Aamir had clarified that he wasn't going to play Gulshan Kumar in the biopic.
Well, that news still holds true as the announcement has only come of the film being produced by Aamir Khan. There is still no clarity about who will be playing the central character in the flick.
Let's wait and watch whether there is any announcement about the lead of the film soon.
