Amidst the Coronavirus outbreak across the world, Aamir Khan was busy enjoying his quarantine break with his family. As film shoots are allowed to resume, Aamir is back to work. Khan recently jetted off to Turkey to wrap up the shooting of his next film Laal Singh Chaddha and left fans in frenzy. As pictures of Aamir Khan meeting with Turkey’s first lady Emine Erdogan in Istanbul surfaces on the internet, the Laal Singh Chaddha star gets trolled on social media.

On Twitter, Turkey’s first lady, Emine Erdogan shared pictures from her meeting with Laal Singh Chaddha actor Aamir Khan and wrote, “I had the great pleasure of meeting @aamir_khan, the world-renowned Indian actor, filmmaker, and director, in Istanbul. I was happy to learn that Aamir decided to wrap up the shooting of his latest movie 'Laal Singh Chaddha' in different parts of Turkey. I look forward to it.”

As soon as pictures of Aamir Khan with Turkey’s first lady surfaced on the internet, fans took to Twitter to lash out on the actor. The enraged social media users expressed their fury on social media for the reason being the reported tensions between India and Turkey. Reportedly, India and Turkey are having tensions over Article 370 being scrapped in Kashmir and Turkey siding with Pakistan in the conflict.  A social media user wrote, “Turkish President is backing Pakistan’s stand on Kashmir and Indian superstar Aamir is meeting his wife. Celebrities from smaller countries are more loyal to their motherland than Bollywood people ever would be.”

Meanwhile, Aamir Khan is in Turkey to wrap up the shooting of his film Laal Singh Chaddha. The film stars Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan in lead roles.
