Perfectionist Aamir Khan recently shot for his upcoming movie, Laal Singh Chaddha in North India and he was all praises for the Kargil region for a hassle-free shooting experience. A recent press note out in the media informs the actor along with his 3 Idiots director Rajkumar Hirani and producer Mahaveer Jain will be introducing a new policy getting Kashmir on the shoot location list of filmmakers. The trio is aiming to make this destination filmmakers' favourite and shoot friendly. Joining the trio will be Hon. Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha.
The film personalities along with the state governor will launch this policy on August 5, 2021. Prior to Aamir and Rajkumar Hirani, filmmakers such as Imtiaz Ali, Nitesh Tiwari, Dinesh Vijan, Ekta Kapoor, Ashwiny Iyer, Sanjay Tripathy, have pushed for the same. The filmmakers met the Hon. LG Mr. Sinha & Principal Secretary LG Mr. Nitishwar and shared their opinion on making Kashmir a shooting friendly destination. This interaction between the filmmakers and the political leaders took place in Mumbai.
Not just Jammu and Kashmir, but Leh Ladakh which is yet another shooting spot seen in many Bollywood movies such as Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Laal Singh Chaddha, Notebook, SherShaah, had played a pivotal role in the movie.
