Aamir At Golden Temple After A Decade

After a gap of 10 years, Aamir Khan once again visited Amritsar's Golden Temple last Saturday evening. The actor invoked divine blessings before starting the shoot of Nitesh Tiwari's Dangal in Ludhiana, which is a few hours from the holy city. He was accompanied by wife Kiran Rao and a battery of guards. 



After offering prayers, Aamir left for Radisson Blu in Ludhiana, where he has been put up for the duration of the shoot. He was given a hero's welcome there, with garlands, bouquets and bhangra dancers in action. 



His last visit to the Golden Temple was while shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Rang De Basanti in 2005.
