Aahana Kumra, born and brought up in Lucknow, had a strong inclination towards acting since childhood when she began doing theatre roles. Little did she know that celebrities often face a problem of their social media accounts getting hacked. Yes, Aahana who is a celebrity now, especially after her role as Priyanka Gandhi in The Accidental Prime Minister and her strong histrionics in web shows especially Inside Edge, Rangbaaz and Bombers, finds herself in exactly the same hot spot.
Aahana has filed a complaint in the Cyber Crime Cell and deactivated her FB Account. Aahana confirmed and told EXCLUSIVELY to SpoboyE.com, "I don't want to be on FB if such is the case. It's damn freaky. I am seeing a guy on my FB holding a flag of some country, I am getting anonymous emails in some foreign language and can't decipher what is written inside them. It's damn freaky"
Aahana is a graduate from Whistling Woods International School of Acting and started her career with advertisements and short films, appearing in several hi-brand advertisements like ICICI Bank, Reliance Internet, KFC, Garnier Fairness Cream amongst many others and others.
One of the big breaks in her career came when she was assigned to play Amitabh Bachchan's daughter in Yudh. Later, she starred in Agent Raghav - Crime Branch, a biweekly television crime thriller show, as the female lead Agent Trisha Dewan opposite Sharad Kelkar.
Another big break she got was when she signed up as one of the leads in Ekta Kapoor's Lipstick Under My Burkha.
Kumra's role of Priyanka Gandhi in The Accidental Prime Minister was quite talked about. Today, she is a well-known actress specially on the OTT platform- Inside Age, Bombers and Rangbaaz being just a little of the body of work she has done in the web space.
