Ranbir Kapoor began 2021 on a high note as he announced his next film. The actor will be seen in the movie titled, Animal. Helmed by Kabir Singh director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, this announcement got Ranbir’s fans and even his colleagues praising him and looking forward to the project. Now amongst these Ranbir’s colleagues, actor Hrithik Roshan also reacted to this announcement. Re-tweeting the news, he congratulated the cast. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles.
Taking to Twitter, Hrithik re-tweeting director Sandeep’s tweet wrote, "Too good !! Just fantastic . Congrats guys !" Ranbir made the annoucement on January 1 and Hrithik congratulated the team six days later. Going by the voice over of the announcement video, the movie probably revolves around a father-son relationship, where Anil and Ranbir will play onscreen father and son. As per reports in the media, Bobby Deol will be seen in a negative role, but the makers are yet to confirm the same. Also the film is expected to hit the floors by mid-2021, followed by its release in 2022.

Besides Animal, Ranbir has bestie Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra co-starring his ladylove Alia Bhatt set to release soon. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. The movie will also see Shah Rukh Khan in a cameo appearance.
