Two years ago, we reported about how Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan gave a “moment of the year” to their fans when the ex-couple came face-to-face at Lux Golden Rose Awards. Shahid Kapoor was waiting to go on stage for his performance and former flame Kareena Kapoor, looking ravishing in red, stepped in to use the washroom. Both Shahid and Kareena instantly hugged and congratulated each other. While, Shahid congratulated and wished Kareena all the best for her soon to be born baby, Kareena congratulated her Udta Punjab co-star for his recent parenthood.

And now, two years later, Mira Rajput exchanged pleasantries and hugged hubby’s ex Kareena Kapoor Khan. With so many stars under one roof last night at Ambani and Piramal’s wedding, it was obvious to get all the spicy happenings. So, when Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mira Rajput hugged each otherm it was a moment to witness. According to our source, the two hot mommies of B-Town, Kareena and Mira co-incidentally entered back-to-back at Antilla with their respective partners, last night. And near the lobby, Saif-Kareena and Shahid-Mira came face-to-face. While, Shahid and Saif shared a friendly hug with each other, Mira Rajput and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s hug looked very formal. But, they hugged is all that matters.

So what if, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Mira Rajput had different opinions when it comes to motherhood. Remember, Mira was quoted as saying, “I love being at home, I love being a mother to my child, I wouldn’t want to spend one hour a day with my child and rush off to work, why did I have her? She is not a puppy; I want to be there for her as a mother.”

Interestingly, after few days when Mira made a statement on the importance of staying at home once you have a kid, Kareena Kapoor Khan made exactly the opposite statement to a leading daily. Kareena said, “Yes, I was on my feet a few days after the delivery, but it's upsetting to have people judge you for it. No one has the right to comment on how I conduct myself or what sort of a mother I am. Everyone seems to have an opinion. Postpartum depression is not a must, right? It's whimsical to generalise that every woman goes through that phase, almost making it sound like a norm. Every pregnancy and every mother's journey with her child during those nine months and afterwards is different.”

Coming back to that hug, we can say all's well that ends well.
