Veteran actor Rajesh Khanna is considered one of the highest-paid actors in the 70s and 80s era. He was termed as the First Superstar of Bollywood for the innumerable hits he delivered in his acting career. He passed away in 2012, and he was posthumously awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2013. Now as tweeted by Ramesh Bala, Entertainment Industry tracker, a biopic will be made on the late superstar. In his tweet he mentioned, this biopic will be helmed by Farah Khan.
The biopic will be backed by Nikhil Dwivedi and the filmmaker will be referring to the book Dark Star: The Loneliness of Being Rajesh Khanna penned by Gautam Chintamani. Ramesh Bala tweeted, “. @TheFarahKhan to direct the biopic of India’s first Superstar #RajeshKhanna. As per reports in ETimes, Farah Khan speaking about the news, said, “Yes, I have read Gautam’s book and it’s very fascinating. We are in conversation over this, but I cannot comment more.”
