50-Year-Old Saif Ali Khan Credits Mother Sharmila Tagore For A Beautiful Inheritance; Find Out What It Is
Saif Ali Khan thanks his mother Sharmila Tagore for the incredible genes that he has inherited. Says, it's because of his genes that he looks young at 50
Nawab of Pataudi, Saif Ali Khan recently turned 50, with wifey Kareena Kapoor Khan making it extra special by hosting an intimate celebration with a handful of guests arriving at their residence. The Sacred Games actor who can still give run for money to the young lot of actors in the entertainment business has thanked his mother-legendary actress Sharmila Tagore for it. The actor in conversation with Neha Dhupia for her podcast, shared of being blessed with genes from his mother which makes him look younger.
He feels his mother Sharmila looks younger with each passing day and he feels he has inherited those genes from her. Funnily mentioning further thus this might help him fool people to convince them of looking 50 even when he turns 60. He said, “So,I’m just relieved my mother looks young and looked young and I feel I have inherited her genes, so I might be able to fool people into looking 50 when I’m 60.” The actor when quizzed about mid life crisis as he touched the mark of 50, he said that he doesn’t feel so as he has achieved enough in his life.
Though the Jawaani Jaaneman actor earlier mentioned of being petrified on turning 50, he is happy with how it’s turning out and has been satisfied with it. He said, “Fifty is petrifying. A friend of mine said you can see the end 50s and then 60s and after 70. Everyday is a bonus. My father died at 71, my grandfather died at 41 so at some point I think you can sit back and you say it’s been a hell of a ride. I’m quite happy with how it’s gone and it shouldn’t be that dissatisfaction, that ‘I didn’t do anything’. Mid-life crisis is not happening because obviously I have done stuff, so I can’t complain.”
