Vicky Kaushal is one of the most charming and desiring actors of Bollywood today. The actor is praised for his looks as well as acting skills thanks to his performances in films like Uri: The Surgical Strike, Masaan, Manmarziyaan and Sanju, to name a few. While, the actor may be tied up with his upcoming projects, today, he took some time off to write an endearing post as his film Masaan completes 4 years.

The actor who started his career with small roles in director Anurag Kashyap’s films, bagged the lead role in Neeraj Ghaywan’s Masaan, co-starring Richa Chadda and Sanjay Mishra. Celebrating the completion of 4 years of his film, the actor shared a heartfelt post with a picture from Manikarnika ghat in Varanasi. The post reads, “For days before we started filming Masaan, I’d sit here for hours at a stretch, quietly watching bodies getting burnt one after the other... dark, fair, beautiful, ugly, rich, poor, fat, thin... All of them turning into the same color of ash. Leaving behind, just their deeds, teaching me the most important lesson of my life. My job was to put life into Deepak, what eventually happened was the other way around. Four years back, I got to ask you all a question... “अब तो हम friend हो गए, हैं ना?” ...Answer to which, I keep getting till date. Here’s to 4 years of our beautiful friendship. I cherish it everyday of my life. Thank You. #4yearsofMasaan 🤗🎈."

Masaan revolved around the story of Devi who struggles to shake off the social stigma of pre-marital sexual relations. Meanwhile, Deepak and Shalu attempt to transcend the restrictions of their casteist society.

Vicky will be seen in Shoojit Sircar’s Sardar Udham Singh next and Bhanu Pratap Singh’s Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship, which is produced by Dharma Productions.
