Today marks 2 years of Sara Ali Khan in the film industry and the successful release of her debut film opposite the late Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath. Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, the film was released on December 7, 2018. After Kedarnath, Sara was next seen in Rohit Shetty directorial Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh, which released on 28th of the same month. While remembering Mansoor aka Sushant Singh Rajput, director Kapoor took to social media and wrote a moving post along with never-seen-before stills from the film sets.
Director Abhishek Kapoor shared unseen stills from the sets of the film and wrote Namo Namo Ji Shankara song lyrics in the caption box. Dwandh dono lok mein vishamrit pe tha chida, amrit sabhi mein baant ke, pyaala vish ka tune khud piya...namo namo ji shankara, bholenath shankara... #2yearsofkedarnath #2YearsOfSSRAsMansoor” In one picture, SSR is seen wearing a red sweater while carrying a cart on his shoulder. Another picture sees Abhishek Kapoor, hugging SSR from behind.
Earlier, Abhishek Kapoor had opened up about shooting for Kedarnath and revealed that it was an exhausting experience for Sushant. Ahead of the film’s release, Gattu Kapoor had said, “Sushant is very strong mentally and physically. Not everybody can lift huge weights on their back and climb the mountain. As an actor, Sushant shows lot of dedication to his character, but this time it has been very demanding on him physically.”
