After unveiling the trailer of Akshay Kumar-Rajinikanth-Amy Jackson starrer 2.0, the makers have now dropped a making video of the film, online. The behind-the-scenes video shows the making of Akshay’s character, Rajinikanth’s character, and how many creative minds are behind the making of this sci-fi extravaganza. The BTS video goes on to explain the extent of special and visual effects involved in this ambitious movie, i.e, 25 VFS studios worldwide, 2150 VFX shots, 1000 VFX artist, Native 3D, Animatronics, 1300 pre-viz shots, 1000 complex VFZ shots, V-Cam technology.
The video features Chitti, the robot, played by Rajinikanth and the Crowman, played by Akshay Kumar. The two are set to have an epic battle sorts. Apart from the huge VFX team, the project is being handled by 10 concept artists, 25 3D designers, 500 craftsmen and is being directed by 4 renowned directors. Reportedly, the VFX work had cost Rs 550 crore. 2.0 which is produced by Subaskaran Allirajah, written and directed by S. Shankar, is also touted to be India's First 75 Million Dollar VFX Wonder. 2.0 will release in Tamil and Hindi, will be and dubbed releases in 13 other languages. It will have A R Rahman’s music and will hit the theatres on November 29.
