Veteran actress Himani Shivpuri, who essayed the role of Salman Khan’s aunt in ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’ shared a funny and interesting anecdote from the shooting days. In a recent interview, she recalled how she was left stunned when Salman picked her up in his arms without her knowledge while she was performing her entry scene. Himani went on to reveal that both Salman and Anupam Kher were ‘pranksters’ on the sets.
In an interview with Rajshri, the senior actor talked about her introduction scene in the movie and stated she was taken aback when the Sultan actor improvised the scene and swept her off the floor, literally, without prior notice. Shivpuri was quoted saying, “I was doing my first scene in the movie and he made an entry. The moment he came, he shouted ‘Chachi jaan’ and picked me up in his arms. I was taken aback because we drama people always rehearse everything, so it was unexpected.” ALSO READ: WHAT! She added, “But we used to improvise too and I played along. Soorja ji also liked it, so he kept it. However, the next time when Salman picked her up in another scene in the movie, Shivpuri was well-versed in his plan and was not surprised this time. Later, in the scene where I announce the birth of Renuka’s baby boy, then also Salman picks me up. But then I was prepared, though it was not a part of the script.”
