Recently, Priyanka Chopra set the MET Gala 2019 pink carpet ablaze with her Dior gown and dramatic make-up. Even Nick Jonas complemented her quite well in his white outfit. Together, the couple created a storm at the fashion event, however Peecee’s look called for several memes. After being a regular at the event, the actress joined the MET Gala Benefit Committee. Her mom, Dr Madhu Chopra also was all praise for her look as she said, “Itni door se kya reaction hoga, mere saamne hoti to jhappi lagati. Bahut sunder lag rahi thi, bahut special lag rahi thi (If she would have been here, I would have hugged her). [She (Priyanka) was looking very beautiful and special].”
Now, Peecee in an interview with AP Entertainment spoke about the extremely popular fantasy drama, Game of Thrones that stars her sister-in-law, Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark. Said Priyanka, “I am married to a Game of Thrones family, I guess. Whenever we are in town together we try and do it together. The last episode, I wasn’t in town but I think everyone in the family got together, like 15 people, and watched the episode. My husband is a huge, huge fan and I think that’s Sophie is so amazing in the show that we have to keep watching it and it just gets you. So yeah, I love Game of Thrones. I can’t wait to find out... I am so sad, it’s getting over now.”
The actress had even shared a picture of Sophie seated on the ‘iron throne’ with her adorable pet dog Diana as the hand of the queen seated next to Sophie in the picture to wish her good luck before the first episode of the final season was to go on air. Sharing the picture on social media, Peecee had written, “Good luck @sophiet you are a boss babe. And are very loved.. #jsister #gameofthrones tonight.”
Priyanka was in Mumbai recently for the wedding of her brother Siddharth, but unfortunately it was called off at the last minute.
