‘I Don't Support This’: Sidharth Malhotra STRONGLY Reacts As US Fan Gets Duped Of Rs 50 Lakh By His Fanpage- TWEET INSIDE

Sidharth Malhotra has urged his fans to be careful of suspicious activities in his name after a fan’s claims of being duped of Rs 50 lakh surfaced on the internet

Actor Sidharth Malhotra made his Bollywood debut alongside Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in Karan Johar’s directorial Student Of The Year. He established himself as a credible actor with his versatile performances and charming on-screen presence. Currently enjoying his married life with his wife Kiara Advani, recently a fan of the actor made shocking claims about one of his fan pages. The USA-based fan was allegedly duped of Rs 50 lakh under the pretext that his life was in danger because of his wife. 

Soon after the incident caused panic amongst the netizens due to the shocking revelations, Malhotra took to his official social media handles to share his statement on the ongoing matter. Not only did he caution his admirers to be careful of suspicious activities taking place in his name, but he also expressed how he, his family, and even his team don’t support them. 

The statement reads, “It has been brought to my attention that certain fraudulent activities/scams have been circulating on various social media platforms, allegedly claiming to be associated with or in relation to me, my family and people claiming to be my fans and seeking money. I want to assure everyone reading this that neither I nor my family or team support any of this. I urge all of you to exercise caution when dealing with such matters. If you receive any suspicious requests, report them to the appropriate authorities and avoid spreading false information.”

“My fans have always been my biggest strength and your trust and safety are my top priorities. Big Love and Hug!,” the 39-year-old actor concluded.  


For those who don’t know, in a series of tweets, a fan from the USA, Minoo Vasudevan, claimed that admins of one of Sid’s fan pages Aliza and Husna Parveen, Duped her of Rs 50 lakh from October 2023 to December 2023. She also mentioned how even her friend from the UK was duped of Rs 10, 500. Sharing the chats, the former claimed that Sid is facing problems in his life because of Kiara, who “forced him to marry her by threatening to kill his family.” They allegedly told her that she did “black magic” on him. 

The fan added, “Honestly, my money was stolen for the wrong reasons... I DO want it back. I know I initially claimed not to, but Sid... Please ask these women to repay the money that was stolen, if at all feasible. More than anything, I want justice served for each and every innocent fan that these ladies have deceived in Sidharth Malhotra's name.”



On the work front, Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s web-series Indian Police Force alongside Shilpa Shetty and Vivek Oberoi. He has yet to announce his next project.
