'Don't Take My Tweets Seriously', Rishi Kapoor Declares!

The trailer of the comedy film, Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi was released a while ago with Rishi Kapoor and Paresh Rawal in attendance. Here's all that happened at the launch....

Rishi Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Prem Chopra, Dilip Joshi and many other stellar actors came together to release the trailer of Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi. The film has been in the making for quite a long time, and finally it's set for release. 



Lead star of the film, Vir Das wasn't able to make it to the event as he was busy with a shooting commitment. However, the rest of the cast and crew were present in full fervour to promote the movie.

At the event, when asked about his Twitter faux pas every now and then, Rishi said, "What I tweet is for myself. I write what comes directly from my heart. But somehow I get it wrong. You should not take my tweets seriously."

Both Rishi and Paresh lauded the historic ruling of the Supreme Court, which came out this morning, on the matter of triple talak.

At the event, the whole cast and crew emphasized a lot about cross cultural relationships in India. After all, that's what the whole movie seems to be based on.

Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi Trailer Launch

Directed by Sanjay Chhel, Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi is all set to hit screens on September 15. It will clash at the box-office with Kangana Ranaut's Simran and Farhan Akhtar's Lucknow Central.
