‘83: Ranveer Singh Starrer’s First Poster to Be Unveiled in Hyderabad; Followed By Trailer Launch In Mumbai

The makers of ‘83 are all set for the launch of poster, teaser and trailer of Ranveer Singh led film. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the makers have been unveiling the first look posters of actors like Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem among others. But according to the latest reports, ’83 makers will start their journey of releasing posters from the South and not Mumbai as always. According to a report in Mid-day, the filmmakers are planning to launch the poster in Hyderabad that will help generate buzz about the movie among the South audience.

Mid-Day quoted a source close to the development saying, “Since it is a trilingual offering [Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu], the makers believe hosting the poster launch in Hyderabad will help generate buzz about the movie among the South audience. The teaser and trailer launch will be held in Mumbai. The Hyderabad gig will see Dev, Madan Lal, Sunil Gavaskar, Mohinder Amarnath, Balwinder Sandhu, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Syed Kirmani, Sandeep Patil, Dilip Vengsarkar, Ravi Shastri, Kirti Azad, Yashpal Sharma, Roger Binny, Sunil Valson, Farokh Engineer and the team's manager, PR Man Singh in attendance.” (ALSO READ: Bhuvan Bam’s Double Meaning Comment On Ranveer Singh’s '83 Logo Reveal Will Leave You In Splits)




“Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with them will be the actors who are bringing their story to celluloid, including Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Saqib Saleem, and Tahir Raj Bhasin, among others," source added further.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, ’83 stars Deepika Padukone, Harrdy Sandhu, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Amrita Puri, Ammy Virk, Chirag Patil, Jatin Sarna, Nishant Dahiya, Boman Irani and Pankaj Tripathi among others. The film, which is based on India's victory at the 1983 Cricket World Cup against West Indies, is slated to release on April 10, 2020.
