Some of TV’s biggest and
brightest stars tied the knot in 2017. From one of small screen’s most eligible
bachelors Anas Rashid, to TV’s funny woman Bharti Singh, and Vatsal Sheth who
tied the knot with Ishita Dutta in a hush-hush ceremony, 2017 saw many TV stars
walk down the aisle.
Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiya
TV’s funny woman Bharti tied the knot with her
best friend Haarsh, on December 3 in Goa. Many Popular faces like Sunil Grover,
Krushna Abhishek, Sanaya-Mohit, Asha-Rithvik, Kishwer-Suyyash, Jia Manek,
Mubeen Saudagar, Mona Lisa Vikrant and Anita Hassanandani attended the
wedding. Spread over 3 days, the wedding functions started with a pool
party, followed by a slew of ceremonies, i.e., Haldi, Mehendi, Engagement,
Cocktail, Wedding & finally, the Reception. The two were in secret
relationship for more than 7 years. Bharti and Haarsh surprised the fans with
their roka picture on social media, just two month before they participated in
Nach Baliye. This wedding was the most in buzz, in 2017.
Aashka Goradia and Brent Goble
Aashka and Brent got engaged in the US in 2016 but tied the knot, a few weeks
back. Mouni Roy, Adaa Khan, Juhi Parmar and Sanam-Abigail were the star
guests for the wedding that took place in Gujarat. There was a white wedding on
December 1 that was attended by their family and close friends. Brent who is a
gun instructor by profession participated in Nach Baliye 8 with Aashka.
Anas Rashid and Hina Iqbal
One of television’s most eligible bachelors also got married this year. We
were the first to tell you about his engagement which took place in April
2017. He tied the knot with Hina Iqbal on September 9 in his
hometown Malerkotla, Punjab. It was an arranged marriage, his wife Hina is 14
years younger to Anas. Anas was earlier rumoured to be dating TV actress Rati
Pandey.
Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta
Their marriage came as a shock to their fans. SpotboyE.com brought you
exclusive videos and pictures of the couple’s wedding. They exchanged
their wedding wows in a private ceremony where Bollywood actors like Bobby
Deol, Sohail Khan, Kajol, Ajay Devgn and others were present. The two fell in
love on the sets of the TV show Baazigar (Life OK) but they always kept their
relationship under wraps.
Gautam Gupta and Smriti Khanna
Their friendship blossomed on the sets of Meri Aashiqui
Tumse Hi (Colors TV). They kept in touch after the show wrapped up and in no
time, Gautam proposed to Smriti. The two tied knot on November 23 at JW
Marriot, Juhu. It was an intimate affair, but actors like Zayed Khan, Dia Mirza
and Karanvir Bohra were in attendance.
Kavita Kaushik and Ronit Biswas
Right at the start of the year FIR’s Chandrmukhi Chautala shocked her fans with
news of her wedding. Kavita Kaushik who was in a relationship with TV actor
Karan V Grover ended up tying the knot with his friend Ronit Biswas in
Kedarnath. They got married on January 27 in a small ceremony at the
Shiv Temple. They have been in the news for their romantic escapades this
year.
Suhani Dhanki and Prathmesh Mody
Suhani Dhanki, popular for her role in Sony TV’s Porus, got married to her
boyfriend Prathmesh Mody in Mumbai, this year. The actress had been dating
Prathmesh, a London based financial consultant, for a year. The couple got
engaged on February 12 and exchanged wedding wows on December
3.
