Farhan Akhtar is back on the silver screen with The Fakir
Of Venice. The film, which is reportedly based on a real life incidence faced
by ace filmmaker Homi Adajania, promises to be a roller-coaster ride for all
quirky comedy lovers. Have a look at the trailer right here:
Apart from Farhan, the film also stars Annu Kapoor in the lead roles.
For those who've come in late, The Fakir Of Venice was
supposed to be Farhan's debut film - not Rock On!! (2008). However, after
winning accolades across the globe at various film festivals, the film somehow
never managed to have for a theatrical release. Farhan moved on to make his big
debut with Rock On!! and became a superstar in the subsequent years that
followed with films like Luck By Chance (2009), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
(2011), Bhaag Milkha Bhaag (2013), Dil Dhadakne Do (2015) and Wazir (2016).
There have been rumours that Farhan is no longer willing
to be a part of this film, and doesn't want to promote it. But there hasn't
been any official confirmation on the same yet.
Directed by Anand Surapur, the film is all set to hit
theatres later this year.
