After the teaser and the songs, the official trailer of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming evacuation drama Airlift is finally out.
The film has Akshay playing businessman Ranjit Katiyal, who was stuck in Kuwait during the 1990 Iraq-Kuwait war. The movie is based on the real -- and largest ever so far -- human evacuation that followed. Under Ranjit’s leadership, over 1,70,000 Indians were brought back to our homeland in over 59 days.
Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, the movie is set to release on January 22.
