Also, Badrinath Ki Dulhania has registered the third highest opening of the year so far after Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees (Rs 20.42 crore) and Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 (Rs 13.20 crore).
Recently, Team Badrinath Ki Dulhania celebrated its success with the industry at Estella, Juhu. It was a fun-filled night for these stars as Varun-Alia, Karan Johar, John-Sonakshi, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kriti Sanon partied till the wee hours to celebrate the film’s success.
Appreciating Varun and Alia’s work, SpotboyE.com film critic Khalid Mohamed said, "Despite being handicapped by ill-conceived part, Alia Bhatt is as spontaneous and pixyish as ever. And Varun Dhawan re-establishes a charismatic screen presence. Handling his mood swings ably, he is particularly impressive in the climax which could have become laughable under an out-of-control actor."
And now the box-office numbers indicate that Varun and Alia’s sizzling hot chemistry has worked for them yet again!
