Starting with Sonam Kapoor and Dulqer Salmaan starrer The Zoya Factor has hit the theaters along with Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas. Directed by Sunny Deol Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas will launch the two new faces- Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol and Sahher Bambba. Another film Prassthanam backed by Sanjay Dutt production is also in the race to lead at the box-office. Led by Sanjay Dutt, the film also stars Manisha Koirala, Ali Fazal, Chunky Panday, Jackie Shroff, Amyra Dastur among others. The films will witness a massive clash with Rambo: Last Blood headlined by Sylvester Stallone.
As all the 4 films have already hit the theaters today, we bring to you their weekend box-office collections predication. Film Business and Trade Analyst Girish Johar has pegged the first day box-office collections of The Zoya Factor around Rs 1.5-2-2.5 Cr. Talking about the weekend collections of Johar told us, “With positive word-of-mouth it should anywhere clock between Rs 5-7 Crore over the weekend.”
He told us, “There are 4 releases this week. Chhichhore and Dream Girl are also doing well at the BO. It’s a tough fight for all the films and the awareness levels for the 3 Bollywood films are pretty much decent. Prassthanam is a massy film action-drama, so it caters to the audience of interiors and small town of the country, where as Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas is targeting the youth of the country. The Zoya Factor is up market niche film.” When asked about which one would lead at the box-office he said, “The Zoya Factor has most chances of leading at the box-office to be followed by Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas and then by Prassthanam.”
