Aala Re Aala Simmba Aala! Ranveer Singh is smiling all the way to the ticket windows, thanks to the bumper opening his latest release Simmba received. With woots and whistles, the audiences are welcoming his movie with open arms. After raking in Rs 20.72 crore on Friday and Rs 23.33 crore on Saturday, the Sunday numbers are even more bigger and better.
According to BOI, Simmba has minted Rs 31 crore nett on Sunday, taking its 3-day business to Rs 75 crore nett. The movie has the fourth best weekend of 2018 after movies like Sanju, Race 3 and Thugs of Hindostan. In fact, the weekend can be called as the best one for Ranveer Singh, as it raced ahead of Padmaavat.
Not only box office, even critics have tagged the movie as the
Entertainer of the Year. SpotboyE.com rated Simmba 3.5 stars and wrote, “Have
you ever been wronged? You will clap. Have you ever ensured that the culprits
were brought to book? You will whistle. Have you ever tried to write any
chapter of your own destiny? You will sing. Have you ever raised your voice
against the mess around you? You will dance. Have you ever treasured your
honesty and not worried about the consequences that it would bring about? You
will experience adrenaline rushing in your veins. Even if you have dismissed
off all Rohit Shetty films until now, this one will make you feel that you
ought to possess or inculcate the righteousness of Inspector Bhalerao aka
Simmba. It will be an understatement to say that Ranveer Singh and Rohit Shetty
