Team Sanju is on top of the world! After all, the Ranbir Kapoor starrer has struck gold with the audience. The collections of the film are soaring with every passing day and just when some thought the second Saturday could show a dip in numbers, the figures are out, and they are astonishing.
Sanju has shown a growth of 70% on the second Saturday, and it's on its way to becoming the biggest money spinner of 2018. The film earned Rs 21.25 Cr yesterday, which catapulted its total collection to Rs 233.83 Cr.
The second Saturday figures are third in the all time record. Only Baahubali 2-The Conclusion and Dangal have amassed more with Rs 26 Cr and Rs 22 Cr, respectively.
What also helps with the collections is that Sanju has got a clear run at cinemas, for the second week running. With no big release at theaters to compete with, Sanju is raking in the cash.
Ranbir Kapoor's portrayal of Dutt is immaculate and that is ensuring maximum footfall. The rest of the cast including Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal, Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Jim Sarabh, Karishma Tanna and others are also getting a lot of praise from the audiences and critics alike.
