Race 3, the multi-starrer directed by Remo D'souza hit theatres this Friday. The film starring, Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem and Anil Kapoor registered a big opening figure at the box-office -- Rs 29 crore. Now, on Day 2 the film has had a massive growth with earnings of Rs 38.14 Cr. The total collections now stand at Rs 67.31 Cr.
Trade expert Taran Adarsh took to social media to share the figures. He wrote, "#Race3 hits the ball out of the park on Day 2 [Sat]... #Eid festivities give MASSIVE BOOST to its biz... Day 3 [Sun] should score BIG NUMBERS yet again... ₹ 100 cr+ weekend on the cards... Fri 29.17 cr, Sat 38.14 cr. Total: ₹ 67.31 cr. India biz (sic)."

Race 3 has garnered good response from masses and critics alike. SpotboyE Editor, Vickey Lalwani rated the film 3 stars and was praises about the performances. He said, "Entertaining? Yes, Race 3 is not an out-n-out Salman Khan film. It's a multi-starrer where everyone has almost as important a role as the superstar's if not more than him (apart from his on-screen ladylove). Salman walks through the role like he does in every film of his, unfazed. But was there a need to remove for him and Bobby Deol to remove their shirts just when this race was on the finishing line? It is heartwarming to see Bobby Deol back. He still has it in him and you would want him to see in more celluloid versions after this. Anil Kapoor, a towering personality (aptly called Shamsher Singh), does not err even in one frame. He may have done some forgettable films, but has he erred even on in frame after he arrived (literally) with Woh 7 Din?"
Race 3 looks all set to cross Rs 100 crore in the first weekend.
