Bhumi Pednekar, Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday starrer Pati Patni Aur Woh is flying high in the sky. The film, which
clashed with Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt starrer Panipat: The Great Betrayal, is doing wonders at the box-office. Ever since the film has hit the theaters, it has been receiving huge appreciation and actors are being applauded by one and all for their stunning performance in the film. On the other hand, Panipat’s long duration has become one of the issues for it to grow at the box-office. Pati, Patni Aur Woh is all set to cross 50 crore mark, while Panipat struggles to win against Kartik Aaryan led.
SpotboyE rated
Pati, Patni Aur Woh and
Panipat with 3.5 stars and wrote, “It's not lifted from the 1978 classic, it's fresh and entertaining, it's not made for the heck of piggybacking on a hit's name. Starts off a bit slowly but Mudassar Aziz (director) starts pedaling real hard after 45 minutes and the labour of love starts rolling out into a fun drama. It's always difficult to reprise the past and yet keep the viewers engaged and grinning but Aziz has done it. Pati, Patni Aur Woh is a cute-watch,” for Pati Patni Aur Woh.
While we wrote about Panipat, “As the film begun and Kriti started the narration of the film, I missed Mr Bachchan’s baritone voice ( narrated Gowariker’s films like Lagaan, Jodhaa Akbar) telling us what happened in the battle of Panipat 3 on January 14, 1761, but as the movie progressed, I realised the lady has done a good job at it.”
