For which same we spoke to Trade Analyst Girish Johar and asked him about the first day collections of the film. He told us, “I would peg the film around Rs 4-5 crore on day 1. It again depends on the word of mouth and how the audience reacts. If they do not find it well made and gripping it can go down badly.

They have promoted the film very smartly. The trailer to me is bang on which is very relevant. Not only that, the timing if the film is very relevant. Seems like, audiences are pretty much excited about the film too. Definitely it’s a word of mouth kind of film, targeting the multiplexes. With Rani’s Mardaani being a hit and Hitchki being successful, let’s expect this to be Rani’s hattrick .”
When asked about Mardaani 2 clashing with Jumanji: The Next Level, he said, “Jumanji is a more kiddy popcorn kind of a flick. It is also expected to do decently well but to me Mardaani would be my first preference.”
