Bareilly Ki Barfi received positive reviews from the
critics but the love triangle starring Kriti Sanon, Rajkummar Rao and Ayushmann
Khurrana had a slow start at the box-office.

Bareilly Ki Barfi sees Kriti Sanon play, Bitti. She is a
rebellious small-town girl who lives her life to the fullest.
Bitti falls for the author of a novel titled Bareilly Ki
Barfi, without even meeting him. She sets off on a chase to find the author
(played by Rajkummar Rao) which is when she comes across Ayushmann Khurrana,
who promises to help her. Little does she know that Ayushmann is the ghost
writer of the book. And then the drama begins.
A Still From Bareilly Ki Barfi
The film’s music has been well received and the tracks
Sweety Tera Drama and Twist Kamariya have become
hits.
Bareilly Ki Barfi also got positive reviews from the
critics with all of them praising the nuanced portrayal of small town characters by the
cast.
The Mishras, Bitti’s chalk-and-cheese parents played by
Pankaj Tripathi and Seema Pahwa, received praise from the critics.
