Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter and wrote, "Solid word of mouth catches up... SUPERB 58.51% growth for #Parmanu on Day 2... Biz is likely to be affected today [evening onwards] due to IPL finals... A strong hold on Mon could make up for revenue loss... Fri 4.82 cr, Sat 7.64 cr. Total: ₹ 12.46 cr [1935 screens]. India biz (sic)."

SpotboyE.com Editor, Vickey Lalwani rated the film 2.5 stars. While he praised the performances and the intent of the film, he was categorical that the director let the film down by introducing too many technicalities in the plot. The emotions in the story, build up only towards the second half.

It will be interesting to see Parmanu’s collections today (Day 3) as we have a hi-voltage match between CSK & SRH tonight.
