Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif’s multi-starrer Bharat, directed by
Ali Abbas Zafar, is going strong. After Tubelight’s debacle, we’re sure Salman
was quite on the edge with this one. However, it looks like Khan has no reason
to worry anymore as the film is being received quite well by masses and
critics.
The 3rd day at the box-office for Bharat witnessed a
dip as the film made Rs 22.20 crore as compared to Rs 31 crore on Thursday. But
the figure is decent enough considering it was a working day and Eid
festivities over. Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures and wrote, “#Bharatmaintains
a grip on Day 3 [Fri]... Mass circuits remain strong, while some circuits faced
normal decline after #Eid festivities... Should witness an upturn on Day 4 [Sat]
and 5 [Sun]... Wed 42.30 cr, Thu 31 cr, Fri 22.20 cr. Total: ₹ 95.50 cr.

SpotboyE.com Editor, Vickey Lalwani rated film 3 stars and
wrote, “There are moments of swagger, romance, anger and dance- and full
marks to Mr Khan for that. I quite liked him. His swag, in particular in this
one, is worth whistles. Loved the bike ride in 'maut ka kua' when he is 20.
Loved his look and hoarse voice when he turns 70. Loved the zeal he depicts in
solving the problems of everyone around him. Loved his shyness when Katrina
Kaif gets often bold with him. Flashes of Amitabh Bachchan's role in Hum (but
not aided by as good a background score as Mukul Anand's entertainer).”
Coming ahead is a weekend and trade pundits expect that
Bharat will again see a rise in its collection. Read this space for all updates
