Ever since the trailer of Bala was released, fans were pretty sure that Ayushmann Khurrana’s magic will again cast a spell on them, all thanks to his choices of movies. And as expected, the film started on a high not and is doing fantastic business at the box-office as well. With 10.15 crores coming on day 1, with Bala, Ayushmann recorded his best opening day of all time, despite facing the ‘Ujda Chaman’ controversy and releasing a week after that. However, it seems like the film is not bearing the controversies and audiences are still flocking at the theatres to watch Bala.

So far, the film has collected Rs. 15.73 crores on day 2, making the grand total to Rs. 25.88 crore. Going by the latest trends, the film will easily collect moolah on day 3 as well which will easily cross the 30 crore mark. However, the real test begins from tomorrow which is Monday where the films usually see a dip in box-office collections. Bala revolves around a man living in Kanpur who suffers from premature baldness.

Thanking his fans for all the support, Ayushmann shared a funny picture of a man on a cycle, rushing past a poster of the film which appears that the man is kissing the poster. Along with this quirky photo, he also posted a heartfelt message for his fans which read, “Today, this film is not mine. It is yours. This story is not just Bala’s. It’s for anyone like Bala, who walks the streets searching for themselves. Thanks for the love.”
