This Friday, B.O witnessed some high drama as two big movies hit the silver screen.
Mohenjo Daro & Rustom clashed at the B.O. We reviewed Rustom yesterday (To watch or not to watch Akshay’s Rustom!, Aug 11), and now it’s time to tell you how Mohenjo Daro fared at the B.O.
Mohenjo Daro is Ashutosh Gowarikar’s most expensive film. He’s not only invested a lot of time, but also a lot of moolah in it!
It’s a special film, as Hrithik comes back to the silver screen after a long gap. His last film was Bang Bang in 2014.
Pooja Hegde who is the lead heroine of the film makes her Bollywood debut with it.
Set in 2016 BC at the height of the Indus Valley civilisation, the story follows a simple farmer who travels to the great city and falls in love with a high-status woman, then must challenge the city's elite and fight against overwhelming odds to save their civilisation.
The film which has been shot in Bhuj and Mumbai with short schedules in Jabalpur and Thane has gone highly over budget. So it’s imperative that it does some real good business in order to cover up its huge cost.
SpotboyE.com's biggest film buff Sangya Lakhanpal took to the theater to watch the film and reviewed it for you. Don't miss this.
