We’ve all faced embarrassing situations especially when we least expect them. Ayushmann Khurrana would be thanking his stars for escaping what could have been quite an embarrassment.
In a candid chat with us, the actor revealed a fun incident when he mistakenly entered the ladies toilet. Narrating it, Ayushmann said, “In Chandigarh, there used to be a mall, where on the ground floor on the right side there would be men's toilet and on the left, ladies. On the first floor it was exactly the opposite. I really don't know what were they thinking! As soon as I entered the washroom I saw everything was pink around me and I heard a girl's voice talking on the phone. Then, I saw there were no urinals. Then, I realised I had entered the ladies toilet, I immediately barged out and went to the men's washroom.” Luckily, he ran for his life before the girl came out.
His co-star from The Dream Girl, Nushrat Bharucha also faced a similar situation and recollecting the incident, she told us, "Yes, it has happened to me. Thankfully it was empty inside and I hurriedly came out." The actress also made a very pertinent point on this as she added, “Aaj kal, most toilets have a lot of art done on their doors to symbolise whether it's for men or women. It's confusing at times to decipher."
Speaking of their film Dream Girl, it deals with funny situations that follow after a man starts talking to men on phone in a woman's voice. Nushrat plays the female lead opposite Khurrana who plays the title role. Helmed by Raaj Shandilyaa, Dream Girl will be releasing on September 13, 2019.
