Bollywood actress Radhika Madan surprised her fans completely after she released a single with singer, Jasleen Royal. We saw Radhika trying her hands on the keyboard and we must say it was impressive. But do you know how it all came to her mind and other than playing music instruments, what other talent Radhika has explored? Well the actress revealed it all in an exclusive interview with SpotboyE.com.

Excerpts from the conversation:

How did this whole idea come to your mind?
It was always there at the back of my mind to learn Piano and Tap dancing. And when lockdown happened, I had all the time in my hand to do what I wanted to.  put out some videos of me playing the intro part of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on my Instagram handle. Jasleen saw it and called me saying uska accordion dhul khaa raha hai. And she also wants to play the accordion which she had learnt earlier. So, I told her I also want to learn Piano. And suddenly she said let's do a song together. I was like, "WHAT? Why do you want to do this to your song?" But she was like no, let's do it. So, that's how we randomly collaborated for the song.

How old were you and when you started developing a liking towards music?
I was 8-9 years old but I guess I was always inclined towards music. I remember I had a keyboard when I was in school and I used to keep playing it. I hadn't learnt or something but whenever I heard some music, I used to try playing that tune from my keyboard. When I was 13-14, my list was full of Jagjit Singh and RD Burman songs.

Why didn't you plan a career in music?
I didn't give it a thought because later my interest was generated towards dancing and then I wanted to take that ahead professionally but then acting happened by fate and here I am. But with all this, I have realised that an artist is an artist whatever medium he or she chooses is just a way to express what is there inside. Tomorrow if I start painting doesn't mean that I will become a painter. All in all I don't want to limit myself and want to explore my inner talents.

Except this, what other talents have you worked on during the lockdown?
I always wanted to learn tap dancing, so I took online classes for it. I did my yoga, cooking Italian food and much more but the greatest learning has been realising the value of family, food, health and of course life.

Things are getting unlocked now. Are you gearing up for going back to work?
If all safety measures are being taken and a safe atmosphere is created to shoot, I don't mind resuming work.

After Lag Jaa Gale, any other song you guys are planning?
I always believe in never say never, so kuch bhi ho sakta hai.
