First things first. Our Best Wishes To You...
(Laughs) I am still wondering how you came to know about
my wedding with Vatsal. We had kept it so much under wraps...
Well, it was accidental. I was at ISKCON Temple (Juhu) making inquiries on another story of a TV couple who were supposed to marry the same day as you. I just happened to see your name written in their register.
What a stroke of luck! You stumbling upon it was a real mystery to us...
Well, you guys were doing a TV show together and you'll kept kept denying that you'll are not dating...
No parental resistance from either side?
Nope. My mother was, in fact, very happy. Dunno why but she always used to wonder if Tanushree and I would ever get married.
Just kept it as a simple affair.
Vatsal is 8 years older to you. No resistance on even that?
Nope. Pehle zamaane mein toh bahut common tha, aaj kal bhi itna rare nahin hai. I think what matters is only how you get along with your partner on day-to-day basis.
You believe in the institution of marriage?
I believe in the institution of marriage. When people used to as me in childhood what you want to do when you grow up, I used to say 'I want to get it married'.
What do you guys like the most about each other?
We both let each other be. We are two individual people living together.
We are best friends. And let me tell you nothing has changed between us after marriage.
Vatsal as an actor?
Extremely talented, especially in negative roles. Loved him in Ek Haseena Thi.
Babies soon?
Eventually yes, but I am still very young. Not anytime soon.
