Doesn't get more honest than this. Hrithik Roshan gets brutally frank and says that he neither pushes nor advises dangerous stunts now. Roshan Jr says that this stemmed into him soon after he had a very dangerous accident in Phuket while shooting for Bang Bang, which later required him to undergo brain surgery

Among the various action stunts that Hrithik Roshan has pushed the envelope in his upcoming film War, buzz was that the Koi Mil Gaya superstar had a free fall from about 300 feet in Portugal for his upcoming film War. We had caught up with him on Saturday at Yash Raj Studios for an interview where he revealed that the news was not true.

Hrithik said that he takes precautions now and in fact urged other actors not to show disdain towards safety. The Bang Bang accident in Phuket had been an eye-opener for him, he added. Vaani Kapoor who plays Hrithik's romantic interest in War was seated alongside. Both were in a very candid mood and took all the questions without batting an eyelid. SEE THE INTERVIEW BELOW:

Said Hrithik, "We have been schooled that there is a certain amount of bravado in doing these things. It just does not matter, it is just not important. But no actor should jump off a bridge or fall off the stairs to prove a point. If you're risking yourself, you are also risking many others on the set. It maybe important in only films like Krrish 3 where you're playing a superhero, but full precautions need to be taken. I am not jumping off from heights anymore without a helmet, which I did in Bang Bang."

For those who've come in late, Hrithik has gone on record to say that Vaani has done a wonderful job in War. We brought you a very interesting story last night where Hrithik revealed that he never felt during the making of War that Vaani was just 2-films old in Bollywood (Shuddh Desi Romance and Befikre). Hrithik strongly felt that Vaani is a very talented artiste, right from Day 1 when according to him. she surprised him by giving an output that far exceeded than what the script required. Post that, Hrithik sent a text to Vaani, which read: 'You are an incredible actor'.

War releases on Wednesday, October 2. The film also stars Tiger Shroff, who must be biting his nails because his Student Of The Year hadn't lived up to expectations. We had a chat with Tiger too, who said that it is not easy to make out beforehand which film will run and which will not.

We shall bring you the Tiger interview tomorrow. And now, why don't you just deep-dive into the Hrithik-Vaani interview embedded above?
