Females and even some males might be disappointed to know that if Aditya Chopra had his way, Ranveer's bare butt scene in Befikre would have been longer than what it is now. In an exclusive interview with SpotboyE.com, Censor Board Chairman Pahlaj Nihalani spilled the beans:

How did the Censor Board pass the bare butt scene?
It is first said that we need to change and reinvent. When we change, we are still criticised. We did cut the bare butt scene to an extent, and we kept it only as much was required to maintain the continuity.

So, you are saying that otherwise Ranveer's bare butt would have been seen for a longer duration...

We have given a lot of cuts in Befikre wherever required. Let me also tell you that we have disallowed the first song, where several couples are kissing at the drop of a hat, to go on television. It is allowed in theatres only.

Is there any vulgarity in Befikre? Is there any obscenity? Why should I cut kissing if it is not in bad taste? Befikre is a youthful film. Look at the treatment that the film has been given. It clearly spells out that the intention of the producer (Aditya Chopra) is not wrong.
