Sunny Kaushal and Rukshar Dhillon starrer Bhangra Paa Le is all set to release on Jan 3, 2020. Naturally, the young bunch of actors are excited as their film hits the big screens in the first week of Jan. They would surely anticipate a good start to the New Year. So ahead of its release, we engaged in a quick conversation with the actors wherein they spoke about the film, their characters and lots more.

We asked Sunny Kaushal as to what drew him towards acting; his father Shyam Kaushal is a renowned action director and his elder brother, Vicky is a fabulous actor himself. So Sunny stated that acting was a natural progression. He and Vicky were never intrigued to persue action direction as they always performed on stage, so acting was always on his mind. He also spoke about his equation with his bade bhaiyya. WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW:

Speaking of his co-star Rukshar Dhillon, the actress has done quite a few films down South. The actress added that she would never differentiate between the two film industries and if given a chance, she wouldn't mind continuing with South films if the scripts impress her. Next, they spoke about their characters in the film. Sunny essays double roles that belong to two different eras. While his character Jaggi's story is set in the current day and age, Kaptaan's (Jaggi's grandfather) is set in the 40s. Rukshar Dhillon play Simi, a strong-headed girl.

As they spoke about their characters, we asked how was the audition process like; did they shake a leg considering the title is Bhangra Paa Le and they nodded in agreement stating that they were asked to showcase their dance skills during the auditions. Then, they spoke about their experience of working with first-time director Sneha Taurani and the duo was all praises for the lady.

Considering the changing times and the acceptance of more bolder content on OTT platforms and even in quite a few films, we asked Rukshar if she would be game for a film that demands her to enact bold scenes and the actress said, "It totally depends on the film. I wouldn't say 'No', but I wouldn't compromise on a personal level."

So overall, the conversation turned out to be quite a candid one. Bhangra Paa Le is directed by Sneha Taurani, produced by Ronnie Screwvala.
