The tragic news of gas leak at a chemical plant in Visakhapatnam was disturbing for many people. The world is already battling with the worst coronavirus pandemic. It is reported that 10 people including two children have died till now. Media reports claimed that over 300 have been hospitalized.
The vizag factory was trying to reopen after the lockdown. Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy has ordered an enquiry into the incident.
Actor Jeet took to his official micro-blogging site Twitter and expressed his grief, “The entire incident with the #VizagGasleak is very disturbing and saddening. My prayers for the ones affected. The visuals I saw are so unpleasant , hope we come out of this dark times soon enough. Stay strong.”

Andhra Pradesh CM has announced 1 crore compensation for each family who has suffered a casualty. The state government will also be providing Rs 25,000 to the ones who received primary care treatment due to the incident. The incident took place around at 2.30 am following which an alert was issued. Precautionary measures have been circulated among the people and have been urged to follow this.
