Gargee Roy Chowdhury who is essaying the role of Sukumari in Satyanweshi Byomkesh has high hopes from the film, which is based on the story Magno Mainak written by Sharadindu Bandopadhyay.

Talking about her character in the film, she said, “When I heard the script, the character of Sukumari seemed impossible.” She further said that it was a thrilling experience.


Apart from Parambrata Chatterjee, Rudranil Ghosh Rudy, the other key characters are Anjan Dutt, Gargee Roychowdhury, Sumanta Mukherjee, Swaroopa Ghosh and newcomer Ayoshi Talukdar.

Detective Byomkesh Bakshy is prowling on the streets of Calcutta to unravel the mystery behind a missing man. And, with each clue, the mystery seems to get murkier. Byomkesh needs to find a monster created by a gang. In the trailer, we can see Parambrata as Satyanweshi who is telling to the audience that politics always had an important connection with his stories.
