Director Arjunn Dutta has stopped shooting of his third film Shrimati and even postponed the release of his second film Guldasta due to the Coronavirus. Guldasta, was suppose to release on April 24, is a women-oriented film and stars Arpita Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee and Debjani Chatterjee in the lead roles.
Sharing his concern over the ongoing crisis, Arjunn Dutta said that currently the country is passing through tough phase and we can deal with this together.
The film is a women-centric film which will feature three female characters in the central role. The third woman character will be played by Debjani Chatterjee. The story will be about the crisis in the life of the three protagonists and how they are dealing with their hardship.
But after a certain point, the three stories will be interlinked with each other. Other than these three, the film will also feature Anubhav Kanjilal and Anuradha Mukherjee in supporting characters.
Meanwhile, Arjunn’s third film Shrimati which stars Swastika Mukherjee and Soham Chakraborty in the lead role. The film is a story about a woman is madly in love with her husband but she is also attracted towards the glamour of high society life. Her attraction grows to the extent that she ends up losing her own identity.
