Guldasta: Arjunn Dutta’s Next Directorial Will See Arpita Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee Together For First Time

Director Arjunn Dutta is all set to start his next film titled ‘Guldasta’ which will see two actresses Arpita Chatterjee, Swastika Mukherjee sharing screen together for the first time. The shooting for the film will begin from the month of September.

Arpita Chatterjee took to her official Twitter handle and shared some pictures, “Few more from my next #Guldasta press announcement @duttaarjun86 @swastika24 @AnubhavKanjilal @actoranuradha.”

A women-centric film will feature three female characters in the central role. The third woman character will be played by Debjani Chatterjee. The story will be about the crisis in the life of the three protagonists and how they are dealing with their hardship. 

But after a certain point, the three stories will be interlinked with each other. Other than these three, the film will also feature Anubhav Kanjilal and Anuradha Mukherjee in supporting characters.

It is to be noted here that Arjun Dutta’s ‘Abyokto’ has been screened at many film festivals and even won many awards. The film features Arpita Chatterjee, Adil Hussain, Anubhav Kanjilal.  

It revolves around Indra’s (Anubhav) life as he grows up from a disturbed child to a man. His mother Sathi (Arpita), father Kasushik (Anirban) and his father’s friend Rudra (Adil) serve the key part in shaping his life as the complex nature of the relationship takes it to an unexpected path. Indra eventually grows into a man he never thought of. The story highlights different angles of the relationship between Sathi, Kaushik, Rudra, and Indra.
The film has already traveled to many film festivals and won many awards.
