The promotion of the movie has started. The teaser of the movie was released and it a man sitting with his face towards a wall filled with newspaper cuttings on Bose’s various international adventures and undertakings on his way to free India from the clutches of the British. There is also a locked suitcase and a lantern. The presence of the locked suitcase perhaps refers to the several notes and documents that were found after the death of Gumnami Baba.
The film is based on Gumnaami baba who was assumed to be the legendary freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. Baba led the life as Hindu saint in Faizabad in Uttar Pradesh in the 1970s or 80s. Netaji Bose died in a plane crash in 1945 which has been doubted by many.
However, Bose's family members had claimed that terming Gumnami Baba as Netaji in disguise without any evidence is a ''criminal offence''. The film is slated to hit the screen during the puja.
