Content: The West Bengal has been devastated after powerful Cyclone Amphan made landfall in the state on Wednesday. Media report claims that at least 15 people has died after the deadly storm lashed coastal areas with wind and rain.

Electricity and communications have been disrupted due to the continuous rainfall. Water has entered into the houses of the people. Pictures and videos of the cyclone are going viral on the social media. West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee has said that the devastation was "a bigger disaster than Covid-19". Currently, Kolkata has reported 3,103 confirmed cases of the coronavirus.
