Actor Arjun Chakrabarty is basking in the success of his recently released film Love Aaj Kal Porshu. The film is directed by Pratim D Gupta and stars Madhumita Sarkar in the lead role. And now these days the actor is also self-quarantined due to the sudden outbreak of Coronavirus in the world.
The actor is spending his time reading books and shared the pictures on Instagram. “No one saw this coming. Now we can only hope to overcome this as soon as possible. Let’s not be complacent, let’s stick to the basic safety precautions. If you’re safe, you can keep your loved ones safe. I’m using this time to relentlessly pursue my second passion, so I thought I’d share some of my favourite titles with you all,” he wrote.
He even listed his books: Past Tense - @leechildreacher, Men Without Women - Haruki Murakami, Exit West - Mohsin Hamid, The Silent Patient - @alex.michaelides, A Gentleman in Moscow (on the Kindle).
On the work front, Arjun will be next seen in ‘Avijatrik-The Wanderlust Within’. The film stars Arjun Chakrabarty as Apu in the lead role. The film Avijatrik is based on the last part of Bibhutibhusan Bandyopadhyay's Aparajito and the film will take you back in time.
Sabyasachi Chakrabarty, Arpita Chatterjee, Sreelekha Mitra, Diripriya Roy, Ayushman Mukherjee, Sohag Sen, Tanusree Shankar, Barun Chanda, Biswanath Basu, Rupanjana Mitra, Shubhro. S. Das, Ishaan Mazumder, Antasheela Ghosh, Jagriti Jalan will be seen in the pivotal roles.
The storyline is based on the concluding part of, Aparajito, by Bibhutibhushan Bandopadhyay. In the film, Apu will relive his childhood through the eyes of his son, visiting Benaras and his village Nischindipur. The film starts where Satyajit Ray's Apu trilogy ended. Abhijatrik will take Apu's story forward.
