Director Manas Basu next upcoming film ‘Chobiyal’ has revealed the releasing date of the film. The film stars Srabanti Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee as the lead actors. The film is releasing on March 27. This is for the first time that these two actors will be paired together.

Bankrolled by Paramhansha Chitram, the film poster was shared on social media. “ছবি'র কবি নাকি কবি'র ছবি ? ২৭শে মার্চ আসছে,” it tweeted.

Srabanti had shared the poster on her official Twitter handle and wrote, “Chobiyal…Coming soon.” In poster, Srabanti is shown as a married woman and Saswata is seen a bit, confused man. The film is expected to release in February.


According to the sources, the story is about a man named Habol who is a photographer but he is very much interested in taking photos of dead bodies. In fact, he is so much passionate about his photography that he has converted studio as a crematorium. Habol becomes unhappy when his close friend played by Amitabh Bhattacharjee who is a wedding photographer suddenly gets disappeared. Habol life changes when he falls in love with Labonyo played by Srabanti. They both start living together. But suddenly, everyone starts talking about them which Habol doesn’t like and one day they also get disappeared. Their sudden disappearance made villagers shocked and left them confused.


Meanwhile, Srabanti will be next seen Hullor. The film stars Soham Chakraborty, Om And Darshana Banik in the lead roles. Hullor is an unofficial remake of Bollywood film comedy film ‘Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega’ starred Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Fardeen Khan, Aftab Shivdasani and Twinkle Khanna.
