Change Is Constant And We Should Accept It, Says Prosenjit Chatterjee On OTT Release

Prosenjit Chatterjee has three pictures lined up this year. His last film Robibaar, directed by Antanu Ghosh, was lapped by the audience and won many awards.

Digital release of the films has divided the entertainment sector. Some directors in the Bollywood have announced that they will be releasing their films on the digital space as the lockdown has further extended till May 31. Laxmi bomb, Shakuntala Devi, Gulabo Sitabo are some of the films which will be released on the OTT. 

Tollywood actor Prosenjit Chatterjee shared his thoughts on this issue to The Times of India. He said, “Change is constant and we should all accept it. The digital release of the film is new to us but this trend will never change the experience of watching a film in theatres. As we cannot completely avoid the new mediums, we have to keep OTT as an option.


Meanwhile, Prosenjit Chatterjee has three pictures lined up this year. The actor will be seen in three films- Kaberi Antardhaan by Kaushik Ganguly, Kakababu Protyaborton by Srijit Mukherji, and one with Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s superhit film Haami.


In 2019, Chatterjee’s three films-Jyeshthoputro, Gumnaami and Robibaar was critically appreciated.  Currently, he is home quarantined and enjoying time watching films and listening to music.
