Actress Ananya Chatterjee and her husband Raj Banerjee has decided to end their four years of marriage. Not revealing the reason for doing so, Raj shared a heartfelt Facebook post in which he thanked everybody in his life for their continued support.
He wrote, “A new year. A new life. “Happy Ending”, probably is a misnomer. No ending can truly be happy & joyous. Especially bcoz, everything u love, comes to an end. So do, relationships...that u cherish to build / nurture over years. I & my beloved wife, Ananya Chatterjee, chose to part amicably / go separate ways & complied with necessary formalities of a legal separation. It took a few signatures to end a 4 yr young marriage & a relationship that spanned 8 yrs. I find myself lucky to have had the opportunity to share a significant part of my ordinary life with such a talented person, a great human being & will continue to cherish some awesome moments spent with her. Going forward, I wish her the best in whatever she sets out to achieve. Given my wife’s celeb status, we got married amidst fanfare galore. It involved genuine love & good wishes from family members / friends / acquaintances/ people from various walks of life who attended our wedding from across the globe.”
He further wrote, “This message/ update is to express our gratitude and respect to all those people who invested emotionally in our relationship over years, saw our happy pics, liked & commented on them & truly cared for our well being. Both of us will cherish your love & support forever. It’s our humble gesture to keep u in the loop on “our status”, lest u have to discover it from elsewhere. This message is also to request all of you lovely people, to grant us the requisite space & privacy needed to get mentally settled with this big change & seek your blessings to begin a new life.”
